Auction Process
Live Auction Events
Multiple monthly auction events bring together a plethora of buyers into one venue providing a trading platform for competitive bidding. Aucor Property facilitates an efficient registration processes which assists the team to manage both buyer and seller expectations at the event. Live auction events are broadcast in real time for buyers, sellers and other interested parties, who cannot be at the venue on the day.
Multiple Auction Event
Multiple monthly auctions are held in Johannesburg at The Houghton Golf Club. The venue is centrally located for convenience. All Covid-19 protocols are in place to ensure the safety of our guests on the day.
Registration
All potential bidders are required to register for the auction and pay a refundable registration fee of R50 000. All FICA requirements must be met – identity document, proof of address and company or trust documents, where applicable. A convenient pre-registration facility is available on the Aucor Property website.
Auction
The live auction begins at 11h00 in the auction venue and is conducted by our highly skilled and accredited Auctioneer. Buyers that cannot attend the auction in person, are able to bid telephonically. This is handled by prior arrangement by the Business Development Team, who will facilitate the process on the day. The auction is also streamed live via on our website, on the Aucor Property Youtube page and the Aucor Property Facebook page.
Sale Agreement
The highest bidder is assisted in signing the Conditions of Sale agreement and the deposit and commission is paid over to Aucor Property’s Trust Account. The signed offer to purchase is then presented to the seller for consideration. If the reserve price is not met, the seller has the option to either reject or accept the bid within a pre-defined confirmation period.
